Apply For a Dog
Individuals with physical and emotional disabilities who can demonstrate that a Canine Assistance Partner will facilitate their independence and self-reliance are eligible to apply*. Students are encouraged to make a contribution to CAP to the extent of their ability, however no qualified Student will be turned away for lack of financial resources. The pairing of a Canine and Student is based on the requirements of the Student and the ability of the individual Canine Partner to perform those tasks. Also included in the decision is the rapport demonstrated between the two which will grow into a bond of mutual love, trust, companionship, and mutually beneficial working relationship.
